Tradition--everyone has their place in the story of life.
Matchmaker--be careful what you wish for. The person you marry is more than what they look like. Care about who they really are more than what they look like.
Rich Man--rich people aren't just the ones with lots of money. Treasure what you have.
To Life--celebrate life! It is a joy just to live and breathe!
Sunrise, Sunset--time flies; live in the moment. Don't get too caught up in yesterday and tomorrow, but take time to enjoy the people in your life, especially the young ones who will be grown before you know it!
Now I Have Everything--God can have something for you right around the corner that is better than you ever imagined. Always be willing to go wherever and do whatever He has planned for you...there may be something wonderful in store.
Do You Love Me?--"for 25 years I've lived with him, fought with him, starved with him. 25 years my bed is his, if that's not love, what is?" Love is everyday. Living together, working together, surviving together.
Far From the Home I Love--life is full of choices, even those between two good things. Sometimes things in your life change and you have to choose between the old good thing and the new good thing.
Anyhow, there's more to it, but I have to get ready to leave the house...and I'm being boring and philosophical. =S
"It well may be that we will never meet again in this lifetime, but let me say before we part: You'll be with me, like a handprint on my heart. And now whatever ways our stories end, I know you have rewritten mine by being my friend."
"I've got my memories, always inside of me, but I can't go back, back to how it was."
"You'll be in my heart, from this day on, now and forever more."
Allison! After a very long day I found myself completely unable to sleep. I was goofing off on the computer (hoping I would finally get tired)and happened onto your blog. I read the entire blog tonight. I really enjoyed everything you wrote about LWW tour. It's funny how the things you wrote would somehow jog my memory about other things that had happened on the tour. FUN TIMES! It was great seeing you and Jonathan in "And Then There Were None." I wish I could have seen Fiddler. Mr. P. had great things to say about it!
ReplyDeleteMiss you Guys!
Gee
great pictures!! (i still want the ones from when i was there.. for reals!)... also... i was just talking today about how good that show was... and i was singing the show songs for like a week and a half after i saw the show, which was during the time of Grapes of Wrath... so everyone kept being like "Faaaaaaaaith!!" when they couldnt get the songs out of their heads either... hahahaha
ReplyDeleteAwwww...LOVE!! It's a big project, but I'm going back and adding pictures to the posts I did on tour without pics. I've only done 2 so far, but there's hope!! I also want to do a flashback kind of thing every now and then about a tour day. :)
ReplyDeleteThere are still so many things we just quote from tour or things that I remember when someone says or does something. I still have the enormous poster from Iowa on my wall. :)
Faithy, I will try to get you pics...I totally forgot. :( Fiddler got better every night, so by closing it was really fantabulous. All the girls were crying at curtain call!!! It was so sad! This is show week for Annie Get Your Gun, so it'll be cray-cray around here. Our "run through" today was FIVE. HOURS. We almost died. It was the first time with orchestra, which isn't really ready on it's own, and set.
Hey, Grapes of Wrath people just should have come seen it so they would enjoy having it stuck in their heads too!! I wish I could have come to Grapes...
Wow, that was long...going now...
Allison, it was such a pleasure getting to be in Fiddler with you and your family. God has placed a very special gift inside you -- not just the ability to act, but the ability to SEE. You are wise beyond your years, and there are (more) great things in store for you!
ReplyDeleteI loved being in Fiddler with you Allison! I really miss being with you and I hope our paths cross again! Thanks for my birthday e-card!!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Emily
