The show was good tonight, the tech part was really great, and just a few sound/light things. We didn't use the robes at the end, so that part was just great. I forgot to fix the red eye before I put these pics on, but here they are anyway:

This place had the most amazing costume room!! I didn't even know it was there until after the show. Mom told me I just had to go look at it, and when I got in the doorway my mouth dropped open. These pics do not in any way do the room justice, but you sort of get the idea. The second one is taken from the top of the staircase in the first one. Up there the walls are lined with costumes and the floor is lined with shoes. It was too dark for me to see how far it went, but it was a long way. One of the walls was lined with hats, and there was fabric
everywhere. Sorry the second one is sideways, but I forgot to flip it before I put it on and I don't know how to do it once it's on here.

Well, it is 1:45 and we have to leave at 8:00 tomorrow morning for a 6 hour drive to Lubbok, Texas. More to come...
Wow, sounds like you guys are having a good time so far in the Narnia whirlwind! Are you keeping count of the miles you've covered in the van? I'd love to see a total by the end of the summer. We all need to make a guess at what it will be, and the winner buys everybody else ice cream when you get back. :)
ReplyDeleteThings are good here, though I haven't had any autograph requests lately. (We expect signed shirts when you come home! ;) Kenzie had her annual dance performance Friday, and that was lots of fun. I'll have to email you pictures. Give everyone my love, and I'll check back tomorrow to see how things went Monday in Texas.
P.S. -- I need that costume room as my studio!
Dahling! I do hope your ankle is fine! Let the men carry the dadburn stone table! (or johnny or chris if you can't fine any men, heh heh!) I know, it was the bulkiness of the thang, right? well, EVERYthing's bulky!
ReplyDeleteHave fun and keep in touch--love the updates. J, R, and T, are at the farm setting tobacco. They asked about your blog, tho.
L and Tim audition at Dr. Bridges's house tomorrow afternoon.
Love,
